Sophie Folley Immobilier is an independent real estate agency located in the south of the Aquitaine region.

It was created by Sophie Folley and Matthew Burnett, who between them have 35 years of experience and success in supporting the purchase and sale of properties in this region of France. Their in-depth knowledge of the local market, their expertise in the realisation of real estate purchases, are for you the guarantee of benefiting from a service that is as personalised as it is professional.

Sophie Folley studied business and French at the University of Humberside in England. Arrived in Béarn in 2005, she is married to a Frenchman and mother of a teenage girl. Thanks to her husband's activity as a carpenter, Sophie is very involved in local life and she will be able to help you in all stages of your installation, whether it involves calling on local craftsmen or to enroll your children in schools or colleges in the region.

Matthew Burnett worked for 25 years for French companies in the paper and packaging industry, before moving into the real estate sector. He has lived in Béarn since 1997, and the local culture and history hold no secrets for him... He is also a big fan of rugby!

Alongside them, Susanne Müller-Seitz, Darren Benson and Ruby Jackson form the rest of the team.

Susanne, who is tri-lingual, will help you find your dream home.  After having worked in several countries in Europe and running her own successful business in the US, Susanne moved to the South West of France, where she worked for a French and international real estate agency, whilst bringing up her 3 daughters, before joining the team at Sophie Folley Immobilier.  She is passionate about our region, located between the Atlantic ocean and the Pyrenees mountain range, and is fully integrated in the French culture and life.  Susanne has helped many clients from all over the world to relocate to France and properly blend in.

Ruby, originally from London, arrived in the south west of France very young. After completing a degree in Chinese studies at the University of Manchester and a master's degree in wine business at the University of Bordeaux, she left to work in Asia and Latin America. Today she speaks English, French, Mandarin and Spanish. In love with the Béarn region and its surroundings, she returned to France to pursue a career in real estate, a true passion of hers. She will guide you as best as possible in your project.

Darren is responsible for expanding our market in the commercial real estate sector. He has an impressive career in property transactions spanning around 20 years, including senior positions in Beijing, Hong Kong and Sydney. Darren lived for many years in France, including his early years as a semi-professional cyclist, with this passion for cycling still continuing today. He was also the owner of a successful “boutique” hotel in the heart of Sauveterre-de-Béarn. During his previous stint as an estate agency in France, he was the selling agent for Hostellerie du Château in Sauveterre and was involved in a number of successful sales in the Béarn, including historic properties in Sauveterre, Tabaille Usqain and Navarrenx.
